From the blue skies to the sculpted clouds, fresh wind, and the deepening fall colors... Fall is truly in full swing, when nature’s beauty is at its brightest. Just like the popular saying, one often gets the “fall blues.” One wonders, is there a way to break out of the blues and enjoy the things we have? It is now time to leave to a place where one can ride through an unforgettable memory.
Cycling in Hwamyeong Eco Park
Hwamyeong Eco Park is famous for its cherry blossoms in spring, and maple colors in fall. Its lush forests and fresh air offer a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride. When one pedals through the refreshing fall breeze, one finds the fall blues being painted over with the colors of the season.
Visitors to Hwamyeong Eco Park have the choice of riding on the maple-lined roads, or bicycle experience zones with courses for every level. These courses feature hills and curves, which make things interesting for experienced cyclists. If one is not so familiar with the art of cycling, one can head to the beginner’s course, where one can ride safely on a flat road.

After a ride through the best of what fall has to offer, take a moment to catch your breath. Just like its name, Hwamyeong Eco Park is home to numerous plants that lend their fragrance to the breeze. The park’s proximity to Hwamyeong New Town makes it a popular destination for leisure, thanks to its arboretum, walking trails, and decked roads. The nearby Leports Town offers opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, and other water sports. Hwamyeong Eco Park is truly a place to enjoy leisure and healing at the same time, and while the park remains beautiful throughout the four seasons, you should definitely check out the brilliance of fall in its wonderful nature.
Skyline Luge Busan
Fall is a season where everything seems to be flowing slowly, but that doesn’t mean that one has no access to high-speed excitement. Enter Skyline Luge, an activity that was developed in New Zealand 32 years ago that is accessible to everyone thanks to its simple controls.
Up until very recently, luge was not available in Korea. Today, however, luge is offered in a number of places throughout the Korean peninsula. Skyline Luge, however, remains somewhat exclusive, as it is available only in seven regions throughout the world. The difference, of course, is that one must take the Sky Ride (lift) to the top to take a ride. Sky Ride itself is an exhilarating experience that takes one to untold heights. Don’t be surprised to find yourself wishing for another ride as you step down,
and sure enough, there is a reason as to why one should take the Sky Ride multiple times: there are four courses available for your ride down. These courses feature different paths that make each ride special. For a more exciting and thrilling way to enjoy the beauty of the season, go to the OSIRIA theme park for its Skyline Luge experience.
