The festival comes to us for nearly a month every other year. As a place to seek coexistence between humans, nature, and the sea, the Sea Art Festival in Busan encompasses ways to creatively connect with marine ecology, a reflection on indiscriminate marine development and mining, and a future vision for an alternative maritime economy. The unchanging theme of the Sea Art Festival in Busan, which provides food for thought through different topics and concepts every time, is 'Let's understand the true value of the sea.' The Sea Art Festival in Busan embraces both the beauty of the sea and the fragility of the coast. Former Baekje Hospital

Number of clicks13,980   Number of reviews2   좋아요2
The red brick building at the end of the original downtown of Busan’s Ibagu-gil is the former Baekje Hospital, the first modern hospital in Busan. Opened in 1922, it was known as the best hospital. However, when it closed in 1932, the building had been used as a Chinese restaurant, Japanese military officers’ accommodation, and the Busan Public Safety Headquarters. Despite having gone through the ups and downs of Busan’s history, it still remains intact to this day. The first floor currently serves as a café with the preserved interior and exterior of the former Baekje Hospital. Go back in time to the 1920s with the aroma of coffee in the air.
