Gupo Mujangaesup Forest Trail

Gupo Mujangaesup Forest Trail is a gentle deck path for people with disabilities, pregnant women, and old people to use comfortably.

At the entrance, there is a parking lot that can accommodate about ten cars, including an 'automatic pest repellent sprayer,' and a parking lot for people with disabilities. A 'power assist device charger for people with disabilities' has been installed for people using electric wheelchairs or electric scooters, showing careful consideration for people with disabilities or old people who use this place.

The length of the Gupo Mujangaesup Forest Trail deck is 2km from the entrance to Haneulbaram Observatory, and it takes about 40 to 50 minutes on foot, but it is recommended to set aside more time when using a wheelchair. There are shortcuts to the top of the stairs across the deck, so it seems very useful for those who want to go to the top quickly.

The trail has a zigzag pattern to the top, and there are separate spaces for wheelchairs and strollers to pass through, so you can use it without any inconvenience. The shade created by the dense forest along the trail allows you to move without difficulty, even in the middle of the day, full of hot sunlight, and the fresh air provided by trees makes your body and mind healthy.

In the middle of the way to the summit, there are two observatory points where you can take a break while looking at the Nakdonggang River. On the way to the summit, there are also strangely shaped rocks, such as Geobukbawi Rock and Jeongsangbawi Rock, so it would be a fun experience to look for them one by one. At Haneulbaram Observatory, on the top, you can look down at the open city of Busan and the Nakdonggang River through telescopes. If you take a photo there with the wonderful scenery, you will feel a sense of achievement after the hard work.

Golden Sunset Bridge

The Golden Sunset Bridge, located at the entrance of Gupo Market, is a pedestrian bridge that connects Gupo and Hwamyeong Eco Park. As the name suggests, it is located in an excellent location to watch the sunset across the Nakdonggang River toward Gimhae.

Golden Sunset Bridge operates elevators at three locations: Gupo Market, the midway point of the bridge, and the observatory where the Buk-gu tourist information center is located. So people using wheelchairs or strollers can use the bridge comfortably. The braille blocks at the entrance to the elevators for the visually impaired, and the braille marked on the elevator buttons allow more people to use this place comfortably.

If you go up the bridge and walk toward Hwamyeong Eco Park, you can feel the different scenery of the Gupo railroad and the riverside road. Walking to the end, you can see an observatory with a tourist information center and simple seats where you can sit and relax. Hwamyeong Eco Park, which you can view from the observatory deck at a glance, makes your eyes feel comfortable thanks to its unique green area and abundant plants.

In particular, if you visit this place at sunset, you can enjoy the fantastic scenery of the Nakdonggang River turning red as the sun sets, making it a popular sunset spot in Busan. At night, you can see the wonderful night view with the lighting, so if you have time, be sure to watch both the sunset and the night view.

Samnak Eco Park

Samnak Eco Park is a representative space for sports and rest in Busan and is widely spread on the left and right sides of the Nakdonggang River bank. It is also located close to Hwamyeong Eco Park, connected to Golden Sunset Bridge. It has many attractions, such as sports facilities, walking trails, and flower colonies, where you can meet various flowers every season.

Large parking lots are located throughout the park, and each has a separate parking area for people with disabilities. The entire park is flat, and the trails are well-designed to make it easy to move around with a wheelchair or stroller, so it's good for families to visit comfortably with pregnant women, older adults, and people with disabilities.

When traveling by public transportation, you can go directly to Samnak Riverside Park using the Gangbyeonnadeulgyo Bridge connected to Gwaebeop Renecite Station on Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit in Sasang. There are elevators with braille blocks and braille, so wheelchairs, strollers, or people who enjoy riding can easily use them.

Trees and benches are placed throughout the green area in the park, so you can rest under the shade even in the middle of the day, and thanks to its spacious size, it is perfect for families. Furthermore, thanks to the well-equipped various sports facilities where you can enjoy basketball and soccer, people who like sports continue to visit throughout the day.

At Samnak Riverside Park, you can use various convenience facilities, including benches where you can rest and sinks where you can wash your hands. In particular, some portable toilets with wheelchair lifts are located here and there so that people with disabilities or older people using wheelchairs can use all facilities without any inconvenience.

Between early July and early August, it is recommended to visit the large lotus colony near Samnak Riverside Park. During this time, you can see the lotus flowers in full bloom, and their unique beauty is so attractive that many people visit, even in the scorching heat.

You can taste special food at the Spanish restaurant ‘Printze’ near Gupo Station. Its first floor is a restaurant, and the second is a gallery. It is a place that is in line with the recent trend of the increasing population raising pets; pets are allowed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

When you enter the store, the tables with different vibes catch your eye. The soft lighting on the tables harmonizes well with the props placed throughout the store, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The space on the second floor where the gallery is located draws attention to its interior, which starts with a typewriter and consists of unique props and frames. Typewriters that work provide a special experience to those who like analog vibes thanks to the unique feeling at their fingertips and the distinctive typing sound.

In Printze, you can taste a variety of Spanish food, and as recommended by the manager, I chose ink paella, tomato pasta, gambas, sangria, and white wine. The ink paella with clams and shrimp adds a rich flavor by combining the strong scent of squid ink and the savory taste of the rice, and the rich sauce of tomato pasta is excellent.

Gambas, a combination of soft shrimp and spicy garlic flavor, captivates the taste buds. Especially it goes very well with white wine. If you want to experience an exotic atmosphere and food in Busan, stop by ‘Printze,’ a Spanish restaurant near Gupo Station.
