Busan Fishing Village Folk Museum
Although it is now the symbol of a huge maritime tourism capital, Busan was once just a small fishing village. The Busan Fishing Village Folk Museum offers a glimpse into the lives of our ancestors, who relied solely on the sea and Nakdonggang River for their livelihood and thriving fishing culture. You can get a vivid impression of the stories of the people who have lived along the river for thousands of years and the folk culture that has been woven into their lives.
If you'd like to explore Busan's history along the way, why not take your children on a cultural tour of Busan's fishing villages from the river to the sea?

Daecheoncheon Valley
Geumjeongsan Mountain is the most accessible mountain in Busan. As the city's landmark mountain, the cool mountain stream that flows down from its peak and into Daecheoncheon Stream is breathtaking. The water flowing down through the thick rocks creates a large, clear pool called Aegiso, which is a popular spot for visitors.
The Daecheoncheon Valley also has a wide range of water depths, and as you hike up the valley you'll be able to see which part of the valley water is ideal for whom. The abundance of water creates a constant sound of rushing water. You can hear a beautiful chorus of nature with the sound of mountain birds chirping in the forest.
Take your children for a fun day of splashing in the stream under the shade of lush green trees and say goodbye to the summer heat!
