The program allows you to walk around the entire Hwamyeong Eco Park and collect various creatures, which is perfect for curious children. Therefore, it is especially designed for groups and families with children. There is also a necklace making session that will appeal to little souls. So if you have children who love nature and crafts, be sure to sign up for this program.

Cameras are also available for those who wish to borrow them. Two photos per person can be printed to keep as a souvenir. If you're looking for a nice photo of your child interacting with nature, renting a camera is highly recommended.

Wetland Ecology Exploration

Experience ecology and have fun activities all in one place!
The ‘Wetland Ecology Exploration’ program at Hwamyeong Water Leports Town lets you explore Nakdonggang River’s ecology through rafting. You’ll get a close look at the plants, animals, and aquatic life of the river. Similar to the "Eco Tour in the Heart of the City" program, you can even collect various creatures, which is especially fun for children. A commentator will be there to explain everything about the ecology in detail.
After the rafting, you will head back to Hwamyeong Water Leports Town to try your hand at raft building. It's a fun, exciting, and educational activity that takes place every year from May to June.

And don’t worry about safety – there will be a lifeguard with you and you’ll get a full safety briefing before you start.

Hwamyeong Water Leports Town is located within the Hwamyeong Eco Park and is popular for its many water activities on the Nakdonggang River. The signposted activities include the Peanut Boat, Pang Pang Boat, Big Mama Boat, Banana Boat, and many other exciting water rides. Each ride costs KRW 20,000, and getting a package of rides is cheaper rather than just one.

It offers not only rides but also watersports training. You can take a beginner’s lesson to learn the ropes, or if you already know how to ride, you can go for the ride of your choice.
The facilities are another plus. Hwamyeong Water Leports Town has a canteen that sells coffee, drinks, and cup noodles, which is a great way to stave off your hunger after a day on the water.
There are also shower facilities, which are kept very clean and have good hot water.

Winter Birding Tour

There are some animal friends that can only be seen in winter: migratory birds.
Why not take some time this winter to get to know these migratory friends on a unique ecological tour?
The Winter Birding Tour will be held in the area of Hwamyeong Eco Park. As this is an area of great interest to children, the program will be mainly for families, with 15 teams per session.
The program allows you to feed and observe migratory birds that visit Hwamyeong Eco Park. It is a meaningful way to teach children the importance of coexisting with various creatures. Participants will receive a preliminary briefing on the habits and characteristics of migratory birds in Nakdonggang River, as well as information on where to birdwatch in the park and what to look for. For more specialized birding activities, birding equipment and food can be rented.
