Türkiye is referred to as a 'brother country' to Korea and is unusually friendly to Koreans. The Türkiye Istanbul Culture Center is the place to experience Turkish culture in Korea.
It has two locations: one in Seoul and one in Busan, the latter located near Dongnae Station on the Busan Metro Line 1.

Climb the stairs on the side of an ordinary-looking building and enter the center on the second floor, where a different world opens up.
Scented lights and ornaments fill the space behind dining tables covered in exotic tablecloths, and in the kitchen, decorated with colorful patterned tiles, black tea, the second most popular drink in Türkiye after water, is brewing. Sipping hot black tea from a traditional double-deck Turkish teapot, you'll feel like you're travelling through Türkiye.

If you want to experience the flavors of Türkiye more intimately, you can join one of the many small group experience programs.
These include the Turkish Home Cooking Class, where you can learn about the heritage, traditions, and food culture of one of the world's top three cuisines; the Mosaic Lamp Class, where you can create a lamp with colorful glasses; and the One-Day Class where you can make Kaymak, introduced as a heavenly taste by Paik Jong-won, a Korean chef and food researcher, and Ramazan Pidesi, a bread eaten by Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
