Summer is the sea, and the sea is Busan, but this beach is not known to outsiders yet.
Imnang Beach is the beach loved by the people of Busan and considered to be one of the two top beaches of Gijang-gun.
Imnang, pronounced with a warm feel, originated from “im” and “rang” of the words “songnim” and “parang,” respectively. The sandy beach of the Imnang Beach stretches out over one kilometer and has a distinctly bright color that wraps around the ocean. Visitors who come to the place for the first time will be astounded by the white sandy beach.
In summer, in addition to sea bathing, various events are held, including the “Gijang Imnang Summer Music Festival” that you can watch for free at the beach, the Imnang Beach College Song Festival, and the Children’s Song Contest.
Walk along the sandy beach to see the filming location that appeared in The King—the house that appeared as the villa of actor Jo In-sung. The house in front of the sandy beach goes nicely with the quiet beach village.
Imnang Beach, just like any other beach in Busan, is packed with tourists who came to enjoy their vacation.
Because the waves are on the high side, surfers are increasing. For those who want to enjoy swimming and camping, there are various amenities, including shower rooms, changing rooms, and various items available for rental. The beach is unlike other large beaches where many people borrow wooden benches or rooms. Near the beach, there are lodgings, pensions, or raw fish restaurants for families, lovers, or friends to gather.

The greatest charm of Imnang Beach is the nighttime view unmatched by any other sea. Those of you who imagined a night with neon signs may have been disappointed, but meeting the silver moonlight that reflects against the waves changes the story. The foam created by the waves as the moon brightens the sky makes the night sea romantic and mellow.
Located near the Imnang Beach are Jangansa Temple and Myogwaneumsa Temple, two of the four old temples in Gijang. Walking along the quiet coastal trail that leads up to the mountain temple will calm your heart.
Catch the blue ocean and the fresh sea breeze during the daytime. Travel back in time at the old temple, and enjoy a walk by the ocean at night.
There is no place as great as the Imnang Beach for those who want to enjoy the beauty of moonlight reflected against the waves instead of the neon signs of the city.
