Taejongdae Park is a beautiful place located at the end of the southern part of Yeongdo and harmonized with the dense forest, cliffs, and the ocean. Take the bumpy Danubi Train to roam around the entire park, or ride the maritime cruise to enjoy the rolling waves and watch the park.

Not far from the Yeongdo, you can find Songdo Beach where you can feel the sky, earth, and ocean at once. If you want a thrilling experience, take Songdo Overwater Cable Car to feel as if you’re flying over the ocean or walking on Cloud Trails made with transparent glass.

The Gamcheon Culture Village branded as Korea’s Machu Picchu exhibits unique scenery that embraces the terraced fields for houses and maze-like alleyways. Originally formed as a base for refugees, the village is now a famous place where life and art coexist. Moreover, there are installations and photo zones around the area. You can enjoy the diverse works of local artists or make your own at ateliers with them.

The Gukje Market and the Kkangtong Market, the two most famous markets with a long history in Jung-gu, Busan, are also must-visit attractions.
In the Gukje Market, the gourmand alley and vintage alley are particularly interesting. Moreover, cultural performances are held in the 609 zones of the market. The second day of your itinerary would start at Gwangalli Beach. In Busan, Haeundae is ranked top for its most famous beaches with Gwangalli. Haeundae Beach, with its fine, white sand, and Dongbaekseom Island, which is located at the end of the beach, are the two must-visit attractions.
The Dongbaek Coastal Trail, along with its coastline and its harmonized atmosphere between the forest and ocean, is the most beautiful spot for watching the ocean, where the Nurimaru APEC House is located.

On top of Dalmajigil Road, which means “greeting the moon” in Korean, you can find the Haewoljeong Pavilion, famous for its sunset view. The coastal trail extends from the pavilion to the Moontan Road and reaches to Mipo, Cheongsapo, and Gudeokpo villages of the Sampho Coastal Trail.

Songjeong Beach became a mecca of surfing in Korea. It is the ideal place to rest and enjoy leisure at the same time. The beach is busy with all the marine sports shops while also enjoyable because of the view of surfers playing with the waves.

The Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, exhibiting the beautiful scenery over the ocean, is a starting point of the coastal trail that extends to the Daebyeonhang Port. The eastern blue sea could be witnessed everywhere in this temple. Moreover, it is widely believed that if a visitor eagerly prays, at least one of his or her wishes will come true.
