Dongnae Market, now a clean, modern two-story building, is 250 years old. Originated as the largest five-day market in Busan during the Joseon Period, the Dongnae Marketplace continues to be the largest traditional market in Dongnae.
Many of the stores inside the market have also continued business over a long time. The herbal medicine shop that stretched out on the exterior of the building, the restaurant district that does not easily raise the price, and the fashion accessory store where you can bargain are at least 40–50 years old.
